Volunteers Needed for Burning Nights CRPS Support Charity
Over 21 billion people volunteer in the UK at least once a year which contributes an estimated £23.9 billion to the UK economy. As a small charity we rely on volunteers to help with various areas of the charity such as social media, email support, support groups, administration and fundraising. Volunteers are now needed to help with our charity – Burning Nights CRPS Support. Why not be the reason someone smiles today? CRPS is difficult enough already!
Burning Nights CRPS Support is a small, independent UK charity dedicated to raising awareness and supporting all those affected by Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) formerly known as Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD). As we are a small but growing charity we rely on volunteers to help run it, so we can’t do it without your help.

Volunteers Wanted for Burning Nights CRPS Support charity
Living with CRPS or caring for someone with CRPS can sometimes leave you with either time to spare or time where you want to do something different. Most of our volunteer roles can be done in the comfort of your own home, on your couch or even when you’re resting in bed. Volunteering just an hour or so every few days not only helps the charity but it can also help you with gaining new skills, giving you self confidence as well as improving your mood and self esteem.
We are now looking for volunteers in various areas of the charity including:
- administration – especially a volunteer administration assistant who is local to the charity
- running local support groups
- fundraising
- social media
- moderators for our online forum
- Blog image creators
- E-newsletter writers
- and more!
STUDENTS/TRAINEES
We are also looking for students who want to volunteer with us during holidays or gap years, especially those interested in social media marketing and planning, business or non-profit administration and IT. If students do volunteer and are successful we would provide you with a certificate of you working with us as well as a letter of thanks/recommendation. Please contact us if you’re interested in any of these areas.
LOCAL VOLUNTEERS
We are especially looking for local volunteers in the Derbyshire/Stockport/Manchester areas who can travel and who have either experience of administration or are an admin student/trainee. If you are in those areas and would like to volunteer some time during the week to help with administration such as creating and updating databases, dealing with general enquiries, letters and other general admin duties. They must be fully computer literate and be able to travel to the charity’s registered address. Please email our founder and Chair of Trustees Victoria with your current CV attached and we will send you our volunteer pack.

During your time with us you will have a contact who will be there for you if you have any issues or problems.
