HAPPY NEW YEAR 2017!

We wanted to take this opportunity to say Happy New Year 2017 to you all and we hope that the next 12 months brings you better health.

The last 12 months certainly went quickly and we, as a CRPS charity, have achieved so much in just a short space of time and it is mostly to do with the support from you – our fundraisers, donors, followers and supporters!

For Burning Nights CRPS Support, 2016 was a fantastic year, this is what we got up to:

  • In April 2016, we became a UK registered charity dedicated specifically to Complex Regional Pain Syndrome or CRPS
  • There were a number of great fundraisers in aid of our charity throughout the last 12 months and we have started to add more fundraisers for 2017 already! If you’re interested in fundraising for us, visit our Fundraising Ideas & Tips page or contact us and tell us your ideas
  • Our Founder, Victoria Abbott-Fleming, was awarded Inspirational Woman of the Year by Aspire Magazine
  • We were invited to speak at various venues and events including radio, television, conferences and exhibitions
  • We exhibited as a charity at various events around the UK, keep an eye on our Events calendar for our next exhibition
  • We were recognised by both NHS Choices and British Pain Society as provider organisations for CRPS which is a great honour
  • We held several support groups in Manchester and we started a new one in Bristol – if you’re interested in starting up a CRPS support group in your area please contact us and we will try and get a group going
  • Our Annual National Conference 2016 was at Manchester Marriott Hotel where we had several interesting speakers – legal, health and financial. Watch our brief video below to see what went on. Our venue for the 2017 national conference has still yet to be decided but it will be in the South of UK.
  • Finally… In December Burning Nights CRPS Support was awarded Charity Of The Year 2016 by Aspire Magazine which was a fantastic honour to receive and is all thanks to not only the charity’s trustees, fundraisers, followers and supporters but also to all the volunteers who give their time so generously to help the charity run

Thank You to everyone who has supported us, fundraised for us, followed us on social media, volunteered and donated to our charity, we couldn’t carry out our aims of raising awareness of CRPS and supporting all those affected by this progressive and life-changing condition if it wasn’t for people like you – Thank You All!
