BURNING NIGHTS CRPS SUPPORT GROUP (SOUTH)

We have decided to hold a Burning Nights CRPS Support group in the South of England during CRPS awareness month of November.

We are looking to hold a Complex Regional Pain Syndrome support group on FRIDAY 18 NOVEMBER 2016 starting at 2pm in either CAMBRIDGE or BRISTOL. November is the month where we try and raise even more awareness for Complex Regional Pain Syndrome awareness worldwide!

For this initial CRPS support group we have decided to give you as sufferers, loved ones and carers the chance to talk about your condition, how it affects you, tips on living with the chronic condition and to ask questions that you’ve always wanted to ask but never had the chance.

We are going to try and make this FREE support group a regular event. However we are looking for someone in the local area to run the Complex Regional Pan Syndrome support group and also a sub-leader. We will provide you with all the necessary paperwork and information you need to run a successful CRPS support group. If you would like to become the support group leader or sub-leader for either of these areas, please contact us and let us know all about yourself.

Like the Manchester CRPS support groups that have been going on since March, we usually ask a health professional to come and give a brief 30-45 minute talk on a topic of interest to you as a group. If you have any suggestions for health professionals for future support groups in either Cambridge or Bristol, who you as Complex Regional Pain Syndrome sufferers or loved ones, would like to hear from or if there was something you would like to learn more about or do such as an art class for chronic pain, please contact us and let us know.

It is a FREE event and we will be having some refreshments kindly provided free of charge for us by Irwin Mitchell solicitors, who are our sponsors. If you have any dietary requirements or any food allergies please let us know straight away.

If you would like to come along to either CAMBRIDGE or BRISTOL CRPS support group please contact us and let us know your preferred location, whether you will be coming in a wheelchair and how many places you need.

CRPS SUPPORT GROUPS EXPANSION

In the near future we are also looking to expand our Complex Regional Pain Syndrome support groups in other areas of the UK. If you think you can run a support group in your local area please let us know all about yourself and where you live. We will then create a list of areas and if we manage to get at least 10 people in 1 area including someone to help run the group under the name of Burning Nights CRPS Support, as a leader and sub-leader, we will send you the necessary documents and if Irwin Mitchell solicitors (our sponsors) have an office in that area we can provide a free and confidential area for the group to be held in. For the 1st new support group meeting we will send 1 of our trustees to help you run it with you.
